Accused of fraud (falsely pretending to one william hooper that she was his sister, and had been sent to the foundling, and since had been in america 21 years, and had returned to England, having seen her name advertised in the american papers; that her father had died and left her all his estate; and that if he would let her have 7 guineas for 3 hours, he should have it again; by which fraudulent pretensions she obtained the said178809100172sum of 7 guineas, with an intent to defraud him thereof). Found not guilty. Sentence outcome was unknown.
